Mother’s Day Highlights

  • Cooking this yummy plate of food for my mother.  All homemade.  Last year, she and my dad went to tour Israel.  When they got back home she dished on the many, many plates of vegetables they were served for every meal of their Mediterranean cuisine.  This was my inspiration for this feast from heaven!  My dad grilled the steaks.  I walked into Sprouts and bought every veggie on sale.  This meal ended up being $12 a person.   Complete with gluten-free homemade pineapple upside-down cake.fullsizeoutput_7d
  • Watching this film together.  I was inspired.  This is the guy that once said, “When you’re going through –the inferno–, keep going.”
  • These presents for her from all of her kids.  These pajamas for this retired camping lady.  She thought they were adorable…I did too.  In fact, I may go get them for myself…just saying!  This shirt, which perfectly describes her life….my parents both laughed when they read it.  This book, since she is an avid photographer.

Thank you MOM  ❤️  !!!!!!

There is a surprise in the works for all of my lovely blogging readers and future readers!  In fact, hint hint, it may be in your mailbox tomorrow.  Be on the lookout!!!!
